5 checks before you use it
- Seal: the jar should be sealed and unopened, with no signs of use.
- Label details: the manufacturer’s or marketer’s name and address, net quantity (30 g), MRP, batch number, and manufacturing and expiry dates.
- Print quality: sharp printing, with no spelling mistakes or blurry logos.
- The cream itself: a smooth, even texture and a pleasant, consistent smell. If it’s different from your last genuine jar, stop.
- Price: a price far below our usual price is the biggest warning sign.
Warning signs of a fake
- Sold loose, in plain jars, or with no box
- Sellers promising “fair in 7 days” or “permanent whitening”. We never make those claims.
- Very fast, dramatic lightening after use, which can be a sign of steroids. Stop and see a dermatologist.
- Burning, redness or thinning skin
